Former Schalke and Hertha BSC midfielder Alexander Baumjohann has joined Coritiba on a one-year deal.
The 30-year-old has joined the Brazilian club on a free transfer after his contract in the German capital came to an end.
Baumjohann has a Brazilian wife and can speak Portuguese, and so the transition to South America shouldn’t be too bad.
