Hamburger SV have sacked their coach, Bruno Labbadia, confirmed by the club.
With just one point in five games, their defeat against Bayern Munich on Saturday was the final straw for Labbadia who took just 20 points from 22 games in 2016.
Abendblatt also report that Labbadia was dismissed via phone.
Hamburger Morgonpost reported this morning that the club want former Hoffenheim coach Markus Gisdol to take charge however, they face competition from rivals Werder Bremen.
