Jakub Kamiński scored seven goals and provided five assists across 34 Bundesliga games for Cologne in 2025/26, helping secure the Billy Goats’ place in Germany’s top flight. After a successful loan from VfL Wolfsburg, the Rhein club exercised their purchase option to sign the Polish attacker for €5.5m, but there’s a chance he won’t be playing at the RheinEnergieStadion next season.
Bild confirm a report from Polish media that Brighton and Hove Albion are interested in Kamiński, but further add that several teams from the Premier League are interested in the player. Notably, Cologne sporting director Thomas Kessler is also aware of interest in his prized asset and remains in close contact with the player’s entourage.
“I have four years left on my contract,” said Kamiński. “But when the opportunity arises to take a step forward, every footballer wants to take it. Sometimes such opportunities only come once in a lifetime. Playing in the Bundesliga has always been a dream but after 104 games and four seasons, the Premier League is my next dream. It’s the best league in the world and I’d like to prove myself there.”
