Should Thomas Tuchel be in charge of Bayern Munich ahead of Arsenal clash?

Bayern Munich’s Klassiker defeat against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday means the Rekordmeister are now 13 points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen with just seven games remaining.

Goals from Karim Adeyemi and Julian Ryerson secured a win for Borussia Dortmund at the Allianz Arena for the first time since April 2014 in the Bundesliga. In what was a passive and disjointed performance, Bayern failed to control the game and were far from their usual best. With Bundesliga defeats against Eintracht Frankfurt, Werder Bremen, Bayer Leverkusen, Bochum and Borussia Dortmund, it’s been a season to forget for Bayern fans.

Not only that, Bayern Munich could yet end the season in third with Stuttgart sitting just three points behind, while they were eliminated from the DFB Pokal by 3. Liga side 1. FC Saarbrücken. The Rekordmeister also went 1-0 down to Lazio in the Champions League Round of 16 first-leg, which they overturned to set-up a tie against Arsenal.

Should Thomas Tuchel remain in charge of Bayern Munich?

Tuchel has also conceded defeat in the Bundesliga title race and it’s known that he and Bayern will part ways at the end of the season. But with the Champions League their only hope of finishing this season with a trophy, should Tuchel remain in charge?

A poll, carried out by Kicker, is as close as polls can be. With 83.27k votes, 53% (44483 votes) believe that Tuchel should be in the dugout for their Champions League clash against Arsenal.
