“I have become a better footballer and a better person because of him. I watched him a lot and he gave me a lot of tips on where I could improve. He recommended that I take the next step and advised me to come here to progress and develop.” – Hugo Ekitike

Ekitike joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a six-month loan deal with a reported mandatory buy option, including a sell-on clause of €30m, according to RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins.

The French attacker made his debut against FC Köln on Saturday, replacing Sasa Kalajdzic in Eintracht’s 2-0 defeat.

As reported via our colleagues at Get French Football News, Paris Saint-Germain had been actively working on solutions for the talented Ekitiké, with the forward being offered to several European clubs, including Manchester United.

Ekitiké has already played more minutes at Eintracht Frankfurt (13) than he did at PSG (8) this season, after falling down the pecking order at the Ligue 1 side.
