FULL SQUAD | Julian Nagelsmann’s Germany squad for the March international break

Julian Nagelsmann has announced his squad for the March international break where Germany play France in Lyon and the Netherlands in Frankfurt.

It was reported before the squad announcement that there would be debutants in the squad with VfB Stuttgart trio Deniz Undav, Waldemar Anton and Maximilian Mittelstädt all receiving their first-ever call-ups to the national team as do Jan-Niklas Beste and Maximilian Beier.

Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksander Pavlovic also receives his maiden call-up amid a pursuit from Serbia to represent them at international level.

The most notable returnee is Manuel Neuer, who will regain his number-one spot at the expense of Marc-André ter Stegen and make his first appearance for the national team since the World Cup. Chris Führich rejoins the squad having missed the November break due to a cold. Robin Koch also makes his return to the national team after nearly a three-year absence from the squad.

This is the last chance to impress head coach Nagelsmann ahead of Euro 2024 with these two friendlies against high-quality opposition being the do-or-die for some players ahead of Germany’s opening game against Scotland in Munich.
