Edin Terzic’s job at Borussia Dortmund is ‘shaky’

Sky Germany reports that Edin Terzic’s job at Borussia Dortmund is ‘shaky’ and he is under observation from the bosses at the club.

In the winter, there was a meeting to decide to carry on with Terzic as head coach but results have still not improved having won only four games from 14 games. The worrying aspect is that most of these games have been against weaker opposition and games against teams around them in the top seven are still to come.

With the prospect of fifth being an extra Champions League place as well as Dortmund currently sitting fourth, qualifying for the Champions League next season is still the main target for Dortmund.

Terzic was at training today (Monday) but left early due to illness.

What is worth noting is if Dortmund do decide to part ways with Terzic mid way through the season, they may already have his replacement lined up with Nuri Sahin and Sven Bender having joined Dortmund in the new year as Terzic’s assistants.
