Sky Germany (via @iMiaSanMia)reports that Bayern Munich want to keep Thomas Tuchel in charge for the rest of the season and any dismissal is not an option at the club.
Tuchel’s relationship with the people in charge is not the closest and they did not approve of his recent statements in interviews about the difference in training quality compared to playing quality. It had previously been reported that these statements had resulted in criticism from the bosses at Bayern and that Tuchel was now fighting for his job at the club.
However, the people in charge still believe in Tuchel as a coach. Whilst a group of players believe that he should communicate with them more they also still have faith in him from a technical point of view.
If Tuchel does not continue beyond the summer, Xabi Alonso is of interest. Bayern are monitoring the Spanaird’s development but a move is currently not an issue due to the faith still held in Tuchel.
