Bayern Munich are set to sign Bryan Zaragoza

As reported by Sky Germany, Granada’s Bryan Zaragoza is set to become a Bayern Munich player.

The 22-year-old has officially arrived in Bavaria, as he looks to complete his move to Bayern six months prior to what was originally planned.

It is understood that a fee of up to €5 million—if all agreed bonus payments are made effective—has been reached between Granada and the record champions for the early acquisition of Zaragoza. This would ultimately see his overall signing rise from €15m to €20m.

Despite signing for Der Rekordmeister in December, Zaragoza’s contract with Bayern does not come into effect until the summer. However, injuries to Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry have forced Bayern to sign the Spaniard early to reinforce Thomas Tuchel’s attacking options.

According to the report, if everything goes according to plan, then Zaragoza will be part of the Bayern squad that look to take on Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday afternoon.

Sitting two points behind Bayer Leverkusen in the title race, there will be little time for Zaragoza to adjust to life in Munich and the Bundesliga. There will be an expectation that he will add instant quality to Der Rekordmeister’s attacking line as they look to claim their twelfth straight league title.
