VfB Stuttgart reach verbal agreement with Brighton’s Deniz Undav

Sky Germany reports that VfB Stuttgart have reached a verbal agreement with Brighton striker Deniz Undav over a move to the Bundesliga.

Stuttgart will now begin talks with Brighton over the type of deal for the striker. The offer will likely be a loan with an option to buy. The move for Undav is in preparation for the possible departure of Sehrou Guirassy who has a release clause in his contract worth €15-20m

Undav wants to join Stuttgart so he can finally play in the Bundesliga. The highest level that the 27-year-old has played at is the 3.Liga with Meppen before he moved to Union Saint Gilloise.

while he also wants to make himself available for the possibility of being called up to Germany’s squad for the European Championships next summer. The impact of Niclas Füllkrug last season as well as Germany’s lack of a recognised striker behind the Bremen man makes the chance of a call-up a possibility.
