Union Berlin yet to reach full agreement with Inter Milan over Robin Gosens

According to Kicker, Union Berlin are yet to reach a complete agreement with Inter Milan over the signing of Robin Gosens, contrary to reports.

Fabrizio Romano reported that the clubs had agreed on a deal worth €15m for Gosens, but that is not yet the case as Inter need more money so they can reinvest in a striker. Once the fee has been agreed, Gosens will move to Köpenick.

Inter have already lined up their replacement for the German international, Monza left-back Carlos Augusto is set to move to the San Siro.

While the signing of Gosens will add much-needed depth as well as Champions League quality to the Union left-back position as they currently only have Jerômé Roussillon as their only recognised player in that position.

Wolfsburg had also shown interest in bringing Gosens to the Bundesliga. The left-back was reportedly not 100% convinced about a move to the club and had preferred to stay at Inter until Union had reignited their interest. The alternative for Wolfsburg was Sassuolo left-back Rogério who joined the club for €5.5m.
