Tottenham Hotspur pushing to sign Julian Nagelsmann

Sky Germany reports that Tottenham Hotspur are pushing more to complete the signing of Julian Nagelsmann as their next permanent manager.

Further talks between the two parties took place over the past few days. The Tottenham job is a serious option for Nagelsmann as he sees it as a big club with big potential. More talks will follow between the two parties, but the 35-year-old would like to take his time with the decision.

However, Nagelsmann would like to know how much power he will get at the London club as it is currently unclear who will be the new managing director of football after Fabio Paratici was handed a worldwide ban for football-related activities with Juventus which forced him to resign from his position.

Nagelsmann is currently jobless after being sacked as Bayern Munich boss in March. The 35-year-old was also linked to the vacant Chelsea job even holding talks with the team, but the move did not materialise.
