Bayern Munich can move four points clear of Borussia Dortmund should they beat Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga Topspiel on Saturday evening.
Thomas Tuchel is without several key players for this weekend’s game. Manuel Neuer and Lucas Hernandez remain sidelined long-term and have been joined by Alphonso Davies and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting of late. Bayern are also without Leon Goretzka after he picked up his fifth yellow card.
That could mean a start for Ryan Gravenberch. Tuchel praised the Dutchman after his performance against Hertha Berlin last weekend and he would seem the obvious choice to partner Joshua Kimmich.
In attack, expect Serge Gnabry to start as the No. 9, ahead of Sadio Mané who is reportedly being isolated by the Bayern squad – that means we can expect to see Leoy Sané come in.
Tuchel also confirmed that Josip Stanišić picked up an injury in training and will be out for around two weeks, which means we could expect to see some youth players within the substitutes.
