Talks between Omar Marmoush and Eintracht Frankfurt are in the final stages

WAZ reports that talks between Omar Marmoush and Eintracht Frankfurt are in their final stages over a free transfer in the summer.

Wolfsburg have reportedly offered Marmoush a new contract as they see his potential however the money that is on offer did not satisfy the 24-year-old. The attacker was reportedly offered a €2.5 million a year contract, which is 4x his current salary, plus a signing on bonus.

There has been stagnation in the talks over this new contract which has allowed Frankfurt to come in and now talks between Marmoush and Frankfurt are in their final stages meaning he can join die Adler in the summer on a free transfer.

It is likely that Marmoush will be brought in to replace Daichi Kamada who is set to join Borussia Dortmund with his contract also expiring in the summer. The draw to Frankfurt is the fact that Marmoush will also likely be playing European football.

Borussia Mönchengladbach are also interested in the Egyptian as they wish to replace Marcus Thuram who will leave the club in the summer.
