Sehrou Guirassy has a €20m release clause in his VfB Stuttgart contract

Bild reports that VfB Stuttgart striker Sehrou Guirassy has another release clause in his VfB Stuttgart contract, with his previous one expiring last summer.

The release clause is reportedly valued at €20m in the contract that he signed in 2026 which is valid from next summer. The 27-year-old had a similar release clause valid in the summer but he instead decided to stay at Stuttgart having spent the previous season on loan at the club from Rennes.

Guirassy is one of the biggest surprises of the Bundesliga in the early stages of the Bundesliga. In five games, Guirassy has 10 goals and is the top scorer in the league three ahead of nearest rival Harry Kane which is a feat that only Robert Lewandowski has gotten near during his record-breaking 20/21 goalscoring season.

Stuttgart currently sit third in the Bundesliga behind Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen losing only to RB Leipzig thanks to the work that Sebastian Hoeneß and Guirassy’s goals.
