Borussia Dortmund want to sign players that are the finished product

According to Bild, Borussia Dortmund want to sign ‘superstar’ players that are the finished product which will help them achieve their goals of winning the league.

Sebastian Kehl and Hans-Jochim Watkze feel that the club needs players who are the finished article and can help them pursue their goals as a club as well as the environment around the club.

However, Dortmund do not have the financial means to buy such players. The arrival of players such as Felix Nmecha for €30m in the summer means that Dortmund does not have any money to fund transfers in the winter, the departure of Thorgan Hazard after the closure of the transfer window helps but it is not enough.

Since the departure of Jude Bellingham, there is no player who can stand out from the team and take hold of the game if necessary. Players such as Karim Adeyemi, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and Julien Duranville have the capability to develop to such a level but are not near the level yet.

Dortmund need players such as Robert Lewandowski, Shinji Kagawa, Ousmane Dembele, Jadon Sancho, Erling Haaland and the aforementioned Bellingham who can all be difference-makers throughout the season and have proven to be for Dortmund in the past.
