Randal Kolo Muani is Bayern Munich’s top priority this summer

Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani is Bayern Munich’s top priority when it comes to signing a striker this summer, according to Bild

The Frenchman has long been mentioned alongside several forwards when it comes to moving to Bayern in the summer. However, it now appears that the Bavarian club have chosen Kolo Muani as their number one target.

The 24-year-old is having an impressive season with Frankfurt and recently fired them into the DFB Pokal final where they will face RB Leipzig. In 41 competitive games, the striker has scored 21 goals for the Eagles.

What’s more, Kolo Muani is willing to leave Eintracht Frankfurt this summer despite still being in contract. Frankfurt bosses have informed Bayern that a fee of around €70m-€80m will not be enough. Sporting director Markus Krösche wants at least €100m plus bonuses. Frankfurt are planning on keeping the 24-year-old forward even if they don’t get Champions League football next season. However, should the Frenchman want a move this summer, it could be best for everyone if the deal happens sooner rather than later. The lure of playing for a top European club in the Champions League might also be too much for Frankfurt to compete with.
