Predicted Bayern Munich XI vs Bochum

Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich make the trip to Bochum on Saturday afternoon as they look to extend their lead at the top of the Bundesliga, kick-off at the Ruhrstadion is 15:30 local time.

Julian Nagelsmann is without Manuel Neuer for the remainder of the season and so Yann Sommer will keep his place in goal. Kicker also suggest that João Cancelo will replace Alphonso Davies at left-back, with Benjamin Pavard on the opposite flank. With Lucas Hernandez injured, the go-to defensive partnership of Dayot Upamecano and Matthijs de Ligt will remain.

Joshua Kimmich will miss the game against Bochum after being sent off against Wolfsburg last weekend for a second-bookable offence. Nagelsmann has already confirmed that Leon Goretzka will play as the No. 6, whilst Ryan Gravenberch will also miss the game through injury – the Dutchman will return to training on Sunday.

Expect Nagelsmann to opt for the same players in the final third. Some good news for Bayern Munich fans is that Sadio Mané is also expected to be back in the squad in the next two weeks, the Senegalese forward was injured prior to the World Cup.

Predicted Bayern Munich XI vs Bochum

Yann Sommer – Benjamin Pavard, Dayot Upamecano, Matthijs de Ligt, João Cancelo – Leon Goretzka – Leroy Sané, Thomas Müller, Jamal Musiala, Kingsley Coman – Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.
