Poll suggests dismissing Julian Nagelsmann is the wrong decision

According to a poll carried out by Kicker, Bayern Munich’s decision to dismiss Julian Nagelsmann at this stage of the season is the incorrect decision.

The poll, of which 228.2k have participated in, indicates that 65% of readers are of the opinion that Bayern’s decision to separate from Nagelsmann is the wrong one.

It was reported by Fabrizio Romano on Thursday night that Bayern Munich had made a decision to part ways with Nagelsmann. This was then reported by Bild, with Thomas Tuchel the favourite to take over.

According to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Bayern made the decision for the following reasons: a negative sporting development in the Bundesliga, and a lack of player development. Club bosses and players are also surprised that the 35-year-old is on a skiing holiday whilst his team is at work.

It’s also important to note that as it’s a dismissal and not a sacking, Nagelsmann will remain on Bayern Munich’s payroll until he finds a new club.
