Junior Dina Ebimbe and Philipp Max to stay at Eintracht Frankfurt

Sport1 are reporting that both Junior Dina Ebimbe and Philipp Max will stay at Frankfurt after their loans end as the club has decided to activate the purchase options.

Dina Ebimbe has impressed since his loan move from PSG and Frankfurt would like to continue working with the 22-year-old. Frankfurt’s purchase for Dina Ebimbe can be reversed by PSG if they wish to keep him, but that would require the €20 million buy-back clause to be activated.

Before his syndesmotic ligament tear, Dina Ebimbe was filling in for Frankfurt at right wing-back and impressed in his 18 games where he was able to score twice and assist once.

However, with the future of players such as Dijbril Sow in doubt, the 22-year-old may be able to play in his favoured central midfield position next season.

Max is also set to stay as the conditions of his loan from PSV Eindhoven to make the move permanent have nearly been met. The purchase option for the 29-year-old is set at €2 million. Since his move from the Netherlands, Max has played six games for Frankfurt.
