Joshua Kimmich no longer considered unsellable at Bayern Munich

According to Kicker, Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich is no longer considered unsellable at the club.

Previously, Kimmich was seen as untouchable and the club were against selling him amid interest from Barcelona. However, the 28-year-old’s position at the club has now changed, if a club makes a lucrative offer for Kimmich then Bayern would be ready to talk about a potential transfer.

Kimmich’s contract at Bayern currently runs until 2025 and according to transfermarkt, the 28-year-old is valued at €75m. The 28-year-old is currently Bayern’s third captain behind Manuel Neuer and Thomas Müller and has been a mainstay of the team for eight years, whether that be in midfield or as a right-back.

The news surrounding Kimmich follows the recent reports about Leon Goretzka. Kimmich’s long-term midfield partner is also a candidate to be sold. Goretzka has attracted interest from Manchester United and West Ham in the Premier League and Bayern would be willing to let the 28-year-old leave if they receive an offer of €40-50m.
