Inter and Bayern Munich are entering final talks over the transfer of Yann Sommer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
This will be the last round of talks and is a crucial moment in the transfer. Inter remain optimistic that than can reach an agreement and bring the Swiss international to Serie A.
From Inter’s point of view, Sommer is a top priority as they seek to replace André Onana, who recently departed for Manchester United.
As per reports via Sky Germany, Sommer has reached a verbal agreement with Inter, and now it’s up to the clubs to come to a full agreement. The 34-year-old is set to cost Inter between €5m-€6m.
Sommer joined Bayern in January from Borussia Mönchengladbach for €9m. However, since his arrival in Bavaria, the 34-year-old has not performed to the same standard that he did at Gladbach.
It is reported that coach Thomas Tuchel will make Neuer the number one as soon as he returns from his injury, which contrasts the viewpoint of former coach Julian Nagelsmann who was open to the keepers competing for the number one spot.
