According to the Rheinische Post, Borussia Dortmund’s Giovanni Reyna is on the list of Borussia Mönchengladbach as they continue their rebuild, while a move for Maxence Lacroix is less likely.
Gladbach are looking at the possibility of bringing Reyna in on loan as the 20-year-old spent most of the second half of the season last year on the bench. Sport Bild has previously reported that Reyna can leave Dortmund this summer for €20m, but this is a fee that Gladbach cannot afford.
die Fohlen have also been linked with Wolfsburg defender Lacroix. However, a move for the Frenchman could only happen if one of Ko Itakura or Nico Elvedi leave the club. Elvedi is the one that is more likely to leave as Itakura is planning to stay at the club despite interest from Napoli.
Due to summer departures, Gladbach must focus on improving their attack as their top scorers from last season have all left and their current crop of senior attackers are Alassane Plea, Nathan Ngoumou, Patrick Herrmann, Hannes Wolf and new signing Robin Hack.
