As reported by Fabrizio Romano, FC Augsburg are interested in signing top Ajax talent Sontje Hansen.
The now 20-year-old was the golden boot winner at the U17 World Cup and is considered a cruising talent within the Ajax ranks.
The forward has played once for the Ajax senior team and has spent the majority of his time with Jong Ajax for the past couple of seasons.
The Dutch giants have offered Hansen a new deal until 2026 but is yet to make a final decision.
This is partially due to the fact that other clubs have offered to sign the forward on a free this summer. One of those clubs being Bundesliga side, Augsburg.
Hansen is expected to make his decision soon. Should Augsburg get their intended man, it will be a great signing and an exciting opportunity for the Dutch youth international. Augsburg are currently 12th in the Bundesliga, 7 pints clear of safety.
