Eintracht Frankfurt interested in Royal Antwerp’s William Pacho

Eintracht Frankfurt have registered their interest in Ecuadorian central defender William Pacho from Royal Antwerp, according to Sport1.

The 21-year-old is highly rated in the Belgium league and is a consistent performer for his side. Currently under contract until 2026, Antwerp have priced their defence gem at around €15m. Having only just registered their interest, Frankfurt will most likely wait until the summer before they can make a more formal move.

As per the report, Pacho would imagine himself moving to Frankfurt and competing in the Bundesliga. Therefore, a future deal may be on the cards. Pacho has already come close to a move to Germany with Borussia Mönchengladbach until they pulled out of the deal at the last minute.

Any future deal may also depend on their current centre-back Evan N’Dicka. The 23-year-old’s contract is due to expire this summer and can now listen to other club’s offers without Frankfurt’s blessing. Several clubs have been linked with the Frenchman including Manchester United, Sevilla, and Barcelona.

However, should the Frenchman somehow come to an agreement with Frankfurt, there will be little chance of them offering for Pacho.
