Sky Germany reports that Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Djibril Sow wants to leave in the summer with clubs all over Europe interested in the Swiss international.
The bosses at Frankfurt are aware of Sow’s desire as they continue an open dialogue over the issue. This means Sow will not be extending his contract at the club which expires in 2024. Clubs from France, England and Italy are all interested in the 26-year-old and the price will be set at around €15m.
Last summer, Sow had attracted interest from Nottingham Forest in the Premier League but rejected the move to England as he wanted to play in the Champions League with Frankfurt. Sow played in every Champions League game for Frankfurt as they were knocked out in the round of 16 by Napoli.
Sow will be another one of the mainstays in Frankfurt’s current team to leave in the summer as Daichi Kamada and Evan Ndicka are both certain to leave while the futures of Jesper Lindstrøm and even Randal Kolo Muani are uncertain at the moment.
