Borussia Dortmund have identified Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher as a transfer target this summer, according to Florian Plettenberg.
Dortmund are currently monitoring the situation but have yet to open talks with the club and the player’s representatives.
The 23-year-old’s future at Chelsea remains very much open and it’s a high possibility he could leave this summer. This is partially down to the large squad of international players at Chelsea and keeping everyone happy has proved an impossible job. As per reports, a transfer fee of around €50m could lure Gallagher away from Stamford Bridge.
The midfielder has shown great potential in recent seasons after an array of loan spells at clubs such as West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace last season. The youngster has represented the England senior team on six occasions but has featured more the England U21s.
So far this season, Gallagher has featured 37 times across all competitions for Chelsea scoring on two occasions.
