Bayern Munich amongst several clubs interested in Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace

As reported by Ed Aarons of The Guardian, Bayern Munich are one of several clubs interested in possibly signing Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha this summer.

The Ivory Coast international’s contract is due to expire this summer. The London-based club have reportedly offered Zaha a four-year deal worth more than £40m. However, the 30-year-old wants assurances that the club’s ambition is to qualify for Europe.

After a dreadful start to 2023 under Patrick Viera, former head coach Roy Hodgson was tasked with steering the club away from relegation.

Bayern are one of many clubs monitoring the situation and could strike should Zaha not sign a deal by the end of the season. The Crystal Palace star is expected to delay any decision and is simply focussing on football until the end of the campaign.

Other clubs interested in the winger include Arsenal, Chelsea, PSG, Roma, and Marseille.
