Manu’s Game of the Week: Union Berlin vs FC Köln
My match of the week is Union Berlin against Köln. This is a classic six pointer in the relegation battle, and I think Union will just about snatch it. Both teams had disappointing performances on the weekend but while Köln offered little to nothing against Freiburg, at least Union played against a good Bochum side. Either way, this will be a must win game for Union Berlin, a defeat or draw here, and questions will be asked whether there was any point in replacing Urs Fischer with Nenad Bjelica.

Stefan’s Game of the Week: Borussia Dortmund vs Mainz
My game of the match day has to be Mainz’s trip to the Westfalenstadion. Speculation in Germany is at fever pitch over the future of Edin Terzić at Borussia Dortmund and anything but a convincing win will only add fuel to the flames. Dortmund can still call on an impressive record at home this season, so defeat is unlikely, but Mainz have looked better in recent weeks and could easily cause an upset of sorts if they are able to take at least a point.
