Bayern Munich submit new Harry Kane bid

After seeing their opening offer rebuffed, Bayern Munich have today submitted an improved second offer to Tottenham Hotspur for Harry Kane.

According to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich have submitted an offer of €80m plus bonuses for England’s top scorer, who is the Rekordmeister’s top transfer target this summer.

Tottenham rejected Bayern’s opening offer of around €70m plus add-ons around two weeks ago but with 12 months remaining on Kane’s contract, it’s not yet clear how Spurs will react to Bayern’s latest approach.

One thing we do know is that should Kane, who scored 30 Premier League goals last season, leave the club then Bayern would be his preferred destination, with Plettenberg further reporting that the Bundesliga club will remain patient in their pursuit of Kane.

As reported earlier in the week by Sport Bild, winning the Champions League with Bayern Munich is something that appeals to Kane, who has 21 goals in 32 Champions League games for Tottenhan.
