Bayern Munich are ready to sell Ryan Gravenberch to Liverpool

As reported by Christian Falk, Liverpool are set to make a bid for Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.

After a season of frustration for Gravenberch, where he failed to find frequent game time for Die Rekordmeister, his wish of moving on from the Allianz Arena looks set to come true. Liverpool have long been interested in the Dutch midfielder and are now ready to make their move for the 21-year-old.

The German champions are expecting a €30m offer from Liverpool that will see the English side trigger Bayern’s asking price. Despite only signing for the club last summer for €18.5m, Gravenberch’s time in Bavaria is set to end before it ever got going.

However, this is a move that the Dutchman is hoping for as he looks to reignite his promising career in the Premier League. As well as this, Jürgen Klopp is convinced that Gravenberch will perfectly fit into the system deployed by his Liverpool side.

As for Bayern, they are hoping to raise funds in order to make a late move for Fulham’s João Palhinha. Despite a transfer seeming unlikely at this late stage, Bayern are not writing off the possibility of signing the Portuguese international in their hunt for a defensive midfielder.
