Stade de Reims striker Hugo Ekitike is keen to join Borussia Dortmund this summer, according to Bild.
The 19-year-old is being monitored by several clubs throughout Europe including top Premier League teams, one of them reportedly Newcastle United. However, the French U20 international is said to be more interested in a move to the Ruhr region.
So far this season, Ekitike has scored 9 goals and provided 2 assists in 21 Ligue 1 appearances.
What is more promising for BVB is the expected transfer sum for the Reims forward.
According to Bild, Ekitike is said to cost around €20m-€25m which is a good €10m less than previously reported.
With this in mind and the striker’s will to join Dortmund, a sale could be highly likely.
