Jeremiah St. Juste is in Lisbon and set to sign for Sporting CP from Mainz 05, according to Fabrizio Romano.
A permanent deal has been reached with St. Juste’s agents and brother who were both in Lisbon for talks.
A transfer fee of around €9.5m has been agreed upon by both clubs.
The 25-year-old has been on the radar of many clubs around Europe with Sporting seemingly leading the way.
Earlier this April, Mainz head coach Bo Svensson feared defensive departures. The coach’s fears have quickly come to fruition right at the start of the summer transfer window.
