Sebastian Kehl confirms Jude Bellingham will stay at Borussia Dortmund

Jude Bellingham will remain at Borussia Dortmund this summer. Speaking on Sky90, BVB sporting director Sebastian Kehl made it clear that the Englishman would be going nowhere.

“He’ll stay with us, I can guarantee that today,” said Kehl. He also confirmed that the club had received no requests for Bellingham, who also has no interest in leaving BVB this summer.

In the last week, Bellingham has been linked with a move to Liverpool, who are also interested in signing Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves as they look to strengthen their midfielder before Thursday’s deadline following injury concerns around Thiago, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Kehl further added: “I hope that Jude Bellingham will stay at Borussia Dortmund beyond 2023. I can see that he feels super comfortable with us.”

Since his €25m move from Birmingham City in July 2020, Bellingham has scored 11 and created 19 in 95 games across all competitions for Borussia Dortmund. The 19-year-old also has 15 England caps.
