According to Sport Bild, SC Freiburg are preparing for the departure of Ermedin Demirovic (24) by registering interest in Borussia Dortmund striker Steffen Tigges.
Demirovic has made 34 appearances for Freiburg this season but often as a sub in the latter stages of games. The Bosnian international has been linked with a move to Hertha Berlin in the summer.
To replace their forward, Freiburg are said to be keen on Dortmund’s Steffen Tigges.
The 23-year-old has played nine times in the Bundesliga this campaign scoring on three occasions.
Tigges has also featured for Dortmund II in ther 3. Liga this season and has scored an impressive four goals in just five matches.
