Predicted Bayern Munich lineup vs Werder Bremen

Bayern Munich will be hoping to continue their impressive run of form when they host one of the league’s surprise packages, Werder Bremen. Bayern survived a more nervy affair against Hertha Berlin on the weekend as they ran out 3-2 winners. Not many would have guessed the scoreline but a win is a win nonetheless. Julian Nagelsmann’s team will be up against a robust Bremen side that has one of Germany’s most in-form strikers, Niclas Füllkrug, in their ranks.

Team News

Bayern went with the usual suspects against Hertha which included the reintroduction of captain Manuel Neuer between the sticks. The likes of Thomas Muller, Matthijs de Ligt, Josip Stanišić, and Bouna Sarr were all still missing. There was one significant injury during the game, however. Wing-back Alphonso Davies was forced off due to a torn muscle fibre in his right thigh. Davies is therefore out of the remaining games before the World Cup but his participation with Canada in the tournament is not at risk.

Predicted lineup

Neuer – Hernandez, Upamecano, Pavard, Mazraoui – Goretzka, Kimmich – Mané, Musiala, Gnabry – Choupo-Moting.
