No market for Bayern Munich’s Bouna Sarr

As reported by Kicker, Bouna Sarr is for sale after a rather uneventful time at Bayern Munich, however there are no suitors for the right-back which has been a theme over the past couple of transfer windows.

Sarr joined Bayern Munich from Marseille in 2020 for €8m but has failed to really make an impact at the right0back position only playing 27 games and his last appearance was in Bayern Munich’s 7-1 win against RB Salzburg in March where he came off the bench at half-time.

The 30-year-old is currently recovering from knee surgery which he had back in September. This also meant he missed out on any chance of selection for Senegal at the World Cup after he was a starter in their African Cup of Nations victory earlier on in the year.

With the signing of Noussair Mazraoui last summer and the promotion of Josip Stanisic it means Sarr has fallen further down the pecking order.
