According to Bild, Newcastle United are heavily interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan N’Dicka.
The 22-year-old central defender has been with the Eagles for four years now and only has a contract until 2023.
Sport Bild recently reported that N’Dicka’s price tag was around €25m. Since their takeover, Newcastle have spent over €100m on new signings in the winter transfer window alone.
Frankfurt’s sporting director, Markus Krösche emphasised: “If the players don’t extend their contract, the situation automatically arises that we have to sell.”
So far this season, N’Dicka has made 29 Bundesliga appearances, scoring and assisting on four occasions.
