Wednesday’s edition of Sport Bild is reporting that Liverpool are now the favourites to sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund. This comes after Bellingham’s entourage informed Real Madrid that talks had already begun with Liverpool.
Additionally, Mark Bellingham, Jude’s father, believes that Liverpool is the best fit for the 19-year-old. However, the only obstacle to the deal will be the fact that Dortmund want €150m for the England international.
Bellingham has had a host of clubs interested in him with Real Madrid, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea all showing strong interest in the midfielder. That interest has only increased this season as Bellingham has continued to improve.
The 19-year-old has featured in all of Dortmund’s games this season in the Bundesliga, playing every single minute. He also has three goals and two assists in the league. In Europe, he has managed to score four times in five Champions League games.
The midfielder joined Dortmund from Birmingham City in 2020 for €25m. He will be Dortmund’s most expensive sale when he eventually leaves the Schwarzgelben.
