Hertha Berlin and Hamburg interested in Cédric Brunner

Hertha Berlin and Hamburg are interested in signing Arminia Bielefeld defender Cédric Brunner, according to Kicker.

The 28-year-old has a contract until June 2022 and would be available on a free transfer.

Both Hertha and HSV play each other in the Bundesliga playoff and so it’s likely that the Swiss defender will wait to see which team is playing top flight football next season.

Brunner joined Arminia Bielefeld from FC Zürich in 2018 and has played 11 games in all competitions.
