Hamburg’s Mario Vušković with interest from Wolves and three unnamed Bundesliga clubs

According to Sky Germany, three unnamed Bundesliga clubs have enquired about 20-year-old Hamburg defender Mario Vušković with interest also coming from Wolves.

Vušković spent the 2021/22 season on loan at HSV, who made the move permanent for €3m. The 2. Bundesliga side are expected to receive around €10m for the Croatian with Premier League side Wolves reportedly readying an offer.

The Croatia youth international played 29 games in all competitions for Hamburg last season before joining permanently from Hajduk Split.

HSV still want to strengthen their squad and could be forced to sell before making further signings this summer. Another candidate for a departure is Josha Vagnoman (21), who has attracted interest from Stuttgart.

VfB have already seen one offer rejected for the German youth international and had made an improved offer of €5m plus bonuses, but Hamburg want a fee closer to €6m.

As well as signing Vušković and Miro Muheim on permanent deals, Hamburg have also signed László Bénes (€1.5m) and Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer (€1.2m) this summer.
