FC Köln suspend Ondrej Duda for the foreseeable future

Ondrej Duda has been suspended by FC Köln and will train on his own for the time being, according to Express

The Slovakian attacking midfielder was suspended by Köln as “he has put his interests above the needs of the team and will initially train individually,” according to a statement.

The report also says that Duda caused internal arguments after only being used briefly during Köln’s 3-1 victory against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

This could spell the end of the 27-year-old’s time at the Billy Goats as Italian side FC Genoa are rumoured to be interested in the player.

Duda’s contract doesn’t run out until 2024 but Köln may choose to move the player on if the situation isn’t resolved.
