FC Köln set to sign Sargis Adamyan from Hoffenheim

FC Köln look set to bolster their attacking options with the signing of Sargis Adamyan from Hoffenheim, according to Kölnische Rundschau

The 29-year-old has one year left on his contract and now looks set for a new Bundesliga adventure with Köln.

Adamyan spent last year out on loan to Belgium side Club Brugge where he scored six goals in 15 appearances.

Despite having spent a year away from the German top flight, the Armenian international has plenty of first and second-division experience.

Before his move to Hoffenheim in 2019, Adamyan spent two years with 2. Bundesliga club Jahn Regensburg.

During his time with Regensburg, the striker scored 20 goals in 66 appearances.

With Hoffenheim, Adamyan played over 55 times for their first and second team where he netted on 9 occasions.

It’s reported that the forward could officially sign for the Billy Goats as early as tomorrow where he’ll meet up with his new teammates ahead of the 2022/23 season.
