Borussia Mönchengladbach open to selling Marcus Thuram and Ramy Bensebaini in January

As reported by Sport Bild, both Marcus Thuram and Ramy Bensebaini are available for minimal transfer fees in the winter, as both their contracts expire at the end of the season.

Thuram will be available for €7m and has several clubs interested in him including Bayern Munich, who are looking for a centre-forward in the event that Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting departs. Thuram has 10 Bundesliga goals this season which earned him a call-up to the France World Cup squad.

Borussia Monchengladbach are also looking at replacements for the Frenchman with Vangelis Pavlidis (AZ Alkmaar), Dion Drena Beljo (Osijek), and Hwang Hee-Chan (Wolverhampton) all being linked.

As reported via our colleagues at Get French Football News, Aston Villa’s Unai Emery also has his sights on Thuram, alongside an unnamed top 5 Premier League club.

Left-back Ramy Bensebaini is also available for €4m as his contract also expires at the end of the season. The Algerian has been linked with Borussia Dortmund in the past. This season he has five goals in 14 matches for Die Fohlen and has made it difficult for Luca Netz to break into the team.
