Bayern Munich would allow Leeds United target to leave for €9m

As reported by English media, Leeds United have joined the race to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Marc Roca.

According to Bild, the Bundesliga champions would allow the Spaniard to leave for around €9m after he became surplus to requirements, playing just 378 minutes of Bundesliga football across nine games last season.

Per the report, fellow Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt are also interested in signing Roca and with Champions League football secured for next season, the Waldstadion club would make for an interesting proposition.

In addition to Leeds United and Eintracht Frankfurt, Barcelona and Sevilla are also monitoring the situation. Roca is open to leaving Bayern Munich in search of more playing time, something he’s had very little of since his €9m move from Espanyol in 2020.

Roca has failed to make an impact and establish himself as a regular within the squad and with the expected arrival of Ajax midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, expect playing time to be limited if he was to remain at the Allianz Arena.
