Bayern Munich to extend sponsorship with Telekom beyond 2023

As reported by Sport Bild, Bayern Munich’s contract with main sponsor Telekom will be extended prematurely in the coming days until 2026 – the previous agreement expires in 2023.

Bayern will receive a reported €200m for the new sponsorship – €50m per year, up from €45m in their current agreement.

Borussia Dortmund receive around €35m per year for their sponsors with 1&1 and Evonik whilst Bayern also receive a further €20m per season for their sleeve sponsorship with Qatar Airways.

Bayern Munich have spent over €130m on transfers this summer with the arrival of Matthijs de Ligt (Juventus), Sadio Mané (Liverpool), Mathys Tel (Rennes), Ryan Gravenberch and Noussair Mazraoui (Ajax).

Julian Nagelsmann’s side opened their season with a DFL Supercup win against RB Leipzig before beating Eintracht Frankfurt 6-1 on the opening day of the season with Joshua Kimmich, Benjamin Pavard, Mané, Serge Gnabry and Jamal Musiala (2) getting on the scoresheet.
