According to Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich are preparing a bid for RB Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer as head coach Julian Nagelsmann sees him in his future plans.
As of yet, there have been no formal talks with Leipzig but Laimer has said to have had intensive talks regarding his future plans with his own management team.
It’s reported that a future bid could soon follow with Nagelsmann seeing Laimer as a key player in his plans at Bayern.
Laimer has been heavily linked with a move away from Leipzig this summer with interest coming from Bayern and Manchester United and with the Bundesliga club already drawing up a list of potential replacements should Laimer leave in the summer.
The 24-year-old’s contract runs out in 2023 with no talks of an extension as of yet.
