Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn have confirmed that the Bundesliga leaders are in talks to extend the contract of 27-year-old French central-midfielder Corentin Tolisso.
“We’re in talks,” Kahn told Sky Germany. “It always takes two to make it fit in the end.”
Tolisso’s current deal runs until the end of the season and it was expected that the France international would leave Bayern Munich but a string of good performances in the absence of Leon Goretzka has seen club bosses change their mind.
