Alexander Nübel unlikely to move to Bayern Munich with current goalkeeping coach

As reported by Sky Germany, Alexander Nübel is ruling out a return to Bayern Munich under the current circumstances regarding Toni Tapalović as the goalkeeping coach, but Bayern will not get rid of Tapalović.

The reason for this is the fact that Nübel feels ignored by Tapalović as the coach barely contracted him during his time in Munich and has not contacted him since he moved to Monaco, as reported by Kicker. Additionally, Nübel does not want to play next to Manuel Neuer when the goalkeeper eventually returns from his injury.

Bayern and Monaco remain in contact about trying to reach an agreement over Nübel, but they are also looking at other options including Yann Sommer of Borussia Mönchengladbach. Bayern are looking at replacements for Neuer who broke his leg when skiing and it leaves him out for the rest of the season.

During his two year spell in the Principality, Nübel has made 73 appearances for Monaco and struggled to displace Neuer as number one during his time at Bayern.
