Speaking to Rheinische Post, 29-year-old midfielder Jonas Hofmann has discussed his Borussia Mönchengladbach future with his current deal expiring in 2023.
“I know that the club doesn’t necessarily want this constellation, so it will probably come down to a decision being made in the next few weeks,” said Hofmann. “I’m an open-minded person and can therefore imagine anything.”
Hofmann has played 23 Bundesliga games this season, scoring eight and creating four. Die Fohlen would like to extend the contract of the Germany international, who received interest from Bayern Munich last summer.
